They were friendly and fast. My reason for 3 stars is the price. It was very inflated, including a $25 fee for using a credit card (no way does it cost them that). The parts were 4 plugs 2 coils. Not even $100 with 100% markup. The job should have been about $200-$300 cheaper with 2 hrs book labor and 100% markup on after market parts. Yes the plug area is a bit hard to get to, but it is a few wrench twists once the plugs are accessed. So two hours is generous for labor at say $200-250 an hour. The credit card thing ridiculous and items were not clearly priced out (it was a relative helping pay so not up to me) . I was desparate and have not had to use a random shop in a long time. I guess I need to haggle more in the future. The one time I hate being female is any repair I know I will get screwed, it is just a matter of how badly. This otherwise would be 5 star.

I brought my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in for a second opinion on a transmission issue, and this turned into one of the best repair experiences I’ve had. Sam diagnosed the problem correctly as a front pump seal leak. I had an excellent experience with Sam at Transmasters Auto Care! Having years of past experience in the automotive repair industry I had taken my car out of another auto maintenance shop because I suspected that I could find a more knowledgeable service advisor and mechanic as well as a shop that had better pricing on parts and much better customer service. I was right! I found Transmasters online and Sam (who did not know I had been in the auto business) who gladly spent time with me answering all of my questions about my 2018 Mazda. I could tell I was finally going to get the expertise and the high level of customer experience I had hoped for. He saved me several hundred dollars and explained which repairs I needed now vs. the ones I could wait on or keep and eye on, keeping in mind that I plan to do a lot of driving in the near future. It is not often that I am glad to shell out money for auto repairs but I am happy to support this business and excited and relieved that my car is safe and that I understand the repairs in detail. I feel that I am in good hands. I am coming back for my oil changes, maintenance and all future repairs. I am so glad to have found my go to shop!

Great shop! Came in for clutch problem on my 2017 Ford Focus RS, didn’t really trust the dealership in their experience with manual transmissions yet performance mods on my car. Sam is very knowledge and communicates often! Verified I needed a new clutch and let me know about a bearing that was broken when they were replacing the clutch. Provided pictures and an update on the cost. Checked my transmission to make sure there wasn’t any other damage beyond that bearing which was nice to have checked and transmission fluid changed out for peace of mind! Had varies cars in the shop and based on the time it took to get my car done they aren’t in their shop for very long. Highly recommend!
